Billie Joe Armstrong Releases ‘Devil’s Kind’ And Other Previously Unreleased Tracks

Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong has been busy lately! Last night, he surprised fans (again) by uploading 11 songs to The Longshot’s new SoundCloud page. The tracks include covers recorded in Armstrong’s garage, leftovers from These Paper Bullets, and new songs.

Armstrong separated the new material into three different EPs: Razor Baby, which features mostly originals, Return to Sender, which has covers of The Ramones, The Who, and Rolling Stones, and Bullets, which has music recorded for These Paper Bullets musical.

He also released the “Devil’s Kind” from Ordinary World, which was posted on The Longshot’s Youtube channel. Check it out below. So far, there’s no word on whether or not these songs will get a wider release or remain on SoundCloud.

Last week, Armstrong released the debut album, Love is for Losers, from his new band The Longshot. They also announced dates for their summer tour. Shows kick off May 3 in Tijuana, MX and wrap up June 2 in Philadelphia, PA. See all the dates here.
