UPDATE: Childish Gambino Postpones Tour Following Foot Injury

Donald Glover’s aka Childish Gambino’s This is America tour has been postponed following a foot injury Glover sustained in Dallas over the weekend.

Fam Rothestein, of Glover’s creative agency Wolf + Rothstein, revealed the news and clarified that the tour is not canceled. “My guy played through the pain, but has to sit some dates out. Back before the years out,” he said in a statement.

UPDATE: Most of the dates have been pushed back until December. All purchased tickets will be honored for the newly rescheduled dates.

Glover’s set at Austin City Limits has been canceled with Justice taking his place. His Seattle concert has been canceled as well due to “venue renovations.” The good news is Glover is expected to recover just in time for his appearance at New Orleans’ Voodoo Experience.

According to TMZ, Glover ended his Dallas concert early on Sunday (Sept. 23). Audience members reported the rapper hurt himself while dancing or “attempting to do the splits.” He exited the arena shortly after performing “This Is America” telling the crowd “I love you, Texas. I’ll see you soon.”

While out on the road, Glover has said this will be his final tour under the Childish Gambino name. He has also premiered three new songs on tour. An album is expected sometime soon, but no official announcement has been made.
