The Rolling Stones Plan New Album Alongside Upcoming Retrospective Book

Brace yourselves, The Rolling Stones have a new album in the works. The band is planning to release a new record alongside their upcoming book, The Rolling Stones: On Air in the Sixties. The book, published by Penguin Random House, looks at the band’s radio and television appearances during the first decade of their successful career.

The book features “previously unseen facsimile documents from the BBC and commercial TV and radio archives, and many stunning unseen images.” Along with the book and record, there will also be a BBC documentary of the same name.

So far, there are no further details about the album.

The Rolling Stones: On Air in the Sixties comes out September 8.
