Watch Billie Joe Armstrong Jam with Tommy Stinson, Steven Van Zandt and His Sons

Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong celebrated one hell of a New Year’s Eve Party! He spent the evening playing covers with some of the most legendary musicians alive in New York’s club “Berlin”. The super group consisted of Tommy Stinson of The Replacements, Steven Van Zandt of the E Street Band, Blondie’s Clem Burke, Jesse Malin, Tad Kubler of The Hold Steady and his two sons Joey Armstrong (SWMRS) and Jacob Armstrong (Mt.Eddy).

Together they covered hits by The Replacements such as “Color Me Impressed”. Watch the videos below, this looks like so much fun!

Rang in 2018 watching Jesse Malin, Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day), Little Steven (Springsteen), Tommy Stinson (The Replacements), Tad Kubler (The Hold Steady) and a whole bunch of friends play punk covers. Not a bad start to (hopefully) a good year. Happy 2018 everybody! . . . . . . . . #JesseMalin #GreenDay #LittleSteven #brucespringsteen #tommystinson #thereplacements #theholdsteady #newyork #nyc #newyears #newyearseve #music #concert #livemusic #concertphotography
