Inaugural Punk Festival 1234 FEST Is Cancelled

The inaugural punk festival 1234 FEST has been cancelled.

The festival, which was slated to make stops in Denver and Philadelphia on September 9th and September 23rd respectively, has been axed “due to circumstances beyond their control.”

Rise Against, who were booked to headline, shared the news saying: “The promoters of 1234 FEST decided to cancel due to circumstances beyond their control. We’ll be back to Denver and Philly as soon as we can. Thanks for understanding.”

Fellow headliners Jawbreaker also released their own statement saying:

“We are gutted by the cancellation of 1234Fest. It was beyond our control. Denver & Philadelphia – we are going to make it up to you the only way we know how.”

Rancid, Descendents, Joyce Manor, Pussy Riot, and Dillinger Four were also set to perform.
