3Teeth Unleash New Song ‘Slum Planet’

3TEETH have dropped another rager with their new single “Slum Planet,” featuring production from DOOM composer Mick Gordon.

Frontman Alexis Mincolla digs into the track saying: ”An ecosystem? More like an ego-system. ‘Slum Planet’ is a monument to the hubris of mankind, to the ruthless exploitation of nature in the name of progress, to the willful blindness of those who chose profits over preservation.”

The video, directed by Matteo Santoro depicts a cybersuited Mincolla piloting a ship through a nightmarish wasteland.

“Slum Planet” follows previously released “Merchant of the Void.” The songs appear to be from the band’s upcoming fourth album, which will be announced at a later date. To build anticipation and to keep fans satiated, the band have promised to share a new single every leading up to its release.

3TEETH are currently wrapping up work on their new album after recording in the Joshua Tree desert with a team that included Gordon.

“3TEETH are one of my favorite acts,” he commented in early May. “They proudly fly their own unique flag. The new album charts course through the next stage of our vanity-led evolution as a species, and by that I mean the album is a world unto itself. I’m just stoked that these guys have allowed me along for the ride.”
