Architects Announce New Album ‘For Those That Wish To Exist’

A day after releasing new music, Architects have announced a new album. For Those That Wish To Exist comes out February 26th via Epitaph.

Featuring 15 tracks, the band says the album was inspired the uncertainty that 2020 brought.

“This album was me looking at our inability to change to a way of life that would sustain the human race and save the planet,” says guitarist and songwriter Dan Searle. “I wanted to look in the mirror and ask ourselves the question of what are we going to do, as opposed to trying to point the finger at politicians. Change has to start on a personal level. The world has developed a culture of wanting someone else to deal with it, when we need to take our own responsibility. It has to start there.”

The album features collaborations with Biffy Clyro‘s Simon Neil, Royal Blood‘s Mike Kerr and Parkway Drive‘s Winston McCall. Check out the artwork and tracklisting below. Pre-order the album here.

Yesterday (Oct. 20) Architects shared new single “Animals,” marking their first new release since 2018’s Holy Hell.
