Original Black Sabbath Members Reunite For Final Show With Metallica, Slayer, And Pantera

Black Sabbath will reunite for one final show this year.

The original lineup of Ozzy Osburne, Bill Ward, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler will perform their final show, dubbed “Back to the Beginning,” on July 5th at Villa Park in the band’s hometown of Birmingham, England. The concert will also feature a solo set from Ozzy, Metallica, Slayer, and Pantera.

The rest of the lineup is rounded out by Billy Corgan, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice in Chains, Lamb of God, Anthrax, Fred Durst, Wolfgang Van Halen, Mastodon, and Zakk Wylde. More acts will be announced soon.

The concert will mark Black Sabbath’s first show since they concluded their farewell tour back in February 2017 without Bill Ward. The last time the original lineup performed was 20 years ago at Ozzfest 2005.

“It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning….time for me to give back to the place where I was born,” Ozzy stated. “How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 14th at 10 AM local time. Proceeds from the show will benefit CureParkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acord Children’s Hospital.
