Black Sabbath’s ‘Paranoid’ Celebrates 50th Anniversary With Super Deluxe Box Set

Black Sabbath’s landmark album Paranoid turns 50 this year and to celebrate the record will be released in a new Super Deluxe collection. Rhino Records has announced a new 5-LP collection featuring the original album plus recordings of two 1970 concerts, and more.

Out October 9th, the collection comes with the standard LP along with a rare 1974 Quadradisc mix of the album; a 1970 concert in Montreux, Switzerland; a 1970 concert in Brussels, Belgium; a hardbound book featuring liner notes, photos, and interviews with all four original band members; a poster; and a replica of the tour book sold during the “Paranoid” tour.

The live shows have been widely bootlegged, but finally received an official release as part of the 2016 4-CD Super Deluxe version of Paranoid. This year’s release marks the first time they’re on vinyl.

The “Super Deluxe” vinyl box set of Paranoid is available for pre-order for $109.98 via Rhino Records. Check out the artwork and tracklisting below.
