Blessed Share New Single ‘Centre’

Blessed have released their frenzied new single “Centre” from their upcoming EP, iii.

The band also shared the song’s accompanying video. Directed by Mitch Huttema, the clip shows various people desperately trying to keep their composure as stress starts to eat away at them.

Speaking about the track, frontman Drew Riekman says “Centre ruminates on decision making and scrutinizing every aspect of your existence. Wondering if the path you’re on is the best place for you in an emotional and personal health sense. Imposter syndrome is difficult to overcome, especially coming from a smaller community. I commonly won’t reach out to people because I feel I’m worth less of their time than others.”

Blessed released their full-length debut, Salt, in 2019. Last year, we sat down with Riekman to discuss the new album and the band’s journey so far. Revisit the interview here.
