Bonnaroo 2020 Is Officially Canceled
Bonnaroo 2020 has officially been canceled due to the ongoing pandemic.
The festival was previously postponed with hopes of returning later this year. As COVID cases continue to rise, it became clear that this wouldn’t be possible. The festival plans to return June 17th-20th, 2021.
“Our annual time together on the Farm is nothing short of magical, but out of an abundance of caution and for the health and safety of all Bonnaroovians, artists, staff, partners and our community, this is a necessary reality,” festival organizers said in a statement.
To make up for the cancelation, organizers have announced a virtual Bonnaroo weekend that will take place September 24th-27th, 2020, featuring “some of our favorite moments from past and present, along with some special surprises.”
Bonnaroo follows a long list of festivals that have been canceled this year, including Lollapalooza, Riot Fest, and Coachella.
Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival will not take place this September 24-27, 2020 as originally rescheduled. All ticket holders will receive an email with info on how to roll your ticket over to the 2021 festival or receive a refund.
