Bruno Mars And Anderson .Paak Announce New Collaboration, Silk Sonic

Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak have announced their new collaborative project, Silk Sonic. The duo plan to release an album in the near future.

Mars revealed the news on Twitter saying the project started in quarantine. Judging from Mars’ post, the album appears to be titled An Evening With Silk Sonic and will feature “special guest Bootsy Collins.”

Silk Sonic will release their first single Friday, March 5th.

Mars and .Paak previously toured together during Mars’ 24K Magic world tour. They also appeared on Chic’s 2018 album It’s About Time.

.Paak released his latest album, Ventura, in 2019 while Mars’ last album, 24K Magic, came out in 2016.
