Hear Chromatics Cover Hole’s ‘Petals’ For New Horror Film ‘The Perfection’

Portland electronic outfit Chromatics have shared their rendition of Hole’s “Petals,” taken from the new soundtrack for the Netflix horror film The Perfection.

The stripped down version of the Celebrity Skin track plays at the end of the movie, which premiered on Netflix last Friday (May 17th). The thriller, about a pair of musical rivals stars, Allison Williams and Logan Browning, and was directed by Richard Shepard. Listen to the song below.

Chromatics are currently on their first North American tour in five years. The trek wraps up June 11th at Mezzanine in San Francisco. See their remaining dates here. Back in February, the group shared a new song, “Time Rider,” which followed their previous singles “Blue Girl” and “Black Walls” released last year. The songs are expected to appear on Chromatics’ next album, Dear Tommy, though a release date has yet to be announced.
