Corey Taylor Unveils Raging New Single ‘Culture Head’

Corey Taylor gives us another taste of his upcoming solo album, CMFT, with the blistering “Culture Head.”

Making its debut last night (Sep. 23) during WWE’s NXT broadcast on the USA Network, Taylor is in full on rage mode as he takes shots at religious fanatics, police brutality, and the fake fronts people use to justify abuse. With its intense energy, snarling guitars, and chugging bassline it’s the heaviest track from the album we’ve heard so far.

Watch the animated video below.

Previously, Taylor shared “HWY 666,” “Black Eyes Blue,” and “CMFT Must Be Stopped” from his debut solo album, CMFT, out October 2nd. To celebrate its release, Taylor will perform a virtual concert from the Forum in Los Angeles dubbed Forum or Against ‘Em.

The show will feature Taylor performing the new album in full for the first time, along with select cuts from Slipknot and Stone Sour, as well as some cover songs. There will also be a special performance from rock ‘n’ roll dance squad The Cherry Bombs, which features Taylor’s wife Alicia Dove. The concert airs Friday, October 2nd, the same day the album drops, at 5PM ET/2 PM PT. Find tickets and exclusive merch here.
