Corey Taylor Recounts His Run-in With The Devil On ‘HWY 666’

Corey Taylor has unveiled his new single “HWY 666” from his upcoming solo album, CMFT.

The track gives us yet another side of the Slipknot frontman as it combines elements of outlaw country, punk, and hard rock. The song’s graphic novel-inspired lyric video features an animated Taylor squaring off against various monsters.

Check out the song below.

Previously, Taylor shared lead singles “CMFT Must Be Stopped” featuring Tech N9ne and Kid Bookie and “Black Eyes Blue.” The new album features 13 newly written songs alongside some dating back to his teens. It was recorded at Hideout Studio in Las Vegas, with producer Jay Ruston and his band—Christian Martucci [guitar], Zach Throne [guitar], Jason Christopher [bass], and Dustin Robert [drums].

CMFT comes out October 2nd, via Roadrunner Records.
