Creeper Launch New Era With ‘Ghost Brigade’
Leave it to Creeper to surprise us in the most fantastical way. The band have surprised released their new single “Ghost Brigade” officially kicking off their next era.
“Ghost Brigade” feels like the band returning to their punk rock roots. They leave behind the Britpop of Sex, Death, and The Infinite Void, and return to high-energy guitars, infectious hooks, and of course, big melodramatic doo-wop-inspired vocals. It’s classic Creeper all the way and we can’t get enough of it.
The band revealed the news during their show tonight at The Roundhouse in Camden. In true Creeper fashion, the announcement was prefaced with frontman Will Gould as Roe from Sex, Death, and The Infinite Void, being beheaded by a vampire.
After the gory event, a video plays where a vampire familiar reveals that the band have signed to Spinefarm Records. She also reveals the release of the new song. The band have also updated their logo on their socials officially kicking off the new era. It’s Creeper meets What We Do in the Shadows and we’re here for it!
Listen to “Ghost Brigade” below.
With the new record label and the new song, it’s only a matter of time before we hear about a new album. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long.
