Creeper Return With New Single ‘Cry To Heaven,’ Announce New LP

Our favorite Southampton punks are back! Creeper have officially launched their next chapter with their new single “Cry to Heaven” taken from their third album Sanguivore, out October 13th via Spinefarm Records.

“Cry to Heaven” shows Creeper evolving yet again with a fresh new sound. The new hard rock anthem is reminiscent of ’80s goth ala Sisters of Mercy with a dash of Danzig with its dramatic synths, crunching guitars, and larger-than-life chorus.

Frontman William Von Ghould says, “Keeping in line with the band’s ethos of aggressive musical progression, the song is once again an ambitious departure from previous works. ‘Cry To Heaven’ turns the key and unlocks a door to a new world of decadent excess. The introduction to a new tragic story of love, loss and vampires. This is Creeper at their most outrageous, harking back to a time where Jim Steinman ruled the airwaves in leather gloves and Aviators.”

Additionally, the band have announced a fall UK tour in support of the album. The tour starts November 5th in Bristol. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, May 30th at 10 AM. See the dates here.

Creeper are set to play the Heavy Music Awards at the OVO Wembley Arena tonight, where they’re nominated for Best UK Artist, Best UK Live Artist and Best Single for “Ghost Brigade.”
