Dave Grohl Writes Song For 10-Year-Old Drummer Nandi Bushell

Dave Grohl upholds his title as the nicest man in rock with his latest effort. Grohl has written a theme song for 10-year-old drummer Nandi Bushell.

You got me!” he says in a new video. “You win round one. But I’ve got something special for you: something you’ve never heard before. Something I’ve never heard before, ’cause I’m about to write this off the top of my head… for you!”

He then performs the song with the help of “the Grohlettes” (his daughters) singing: “She got the power/ She got the soul/ Gonna save the world with her rock & roll!”

The two previously faced off in an epic drum battle after Bushell challenged Grohl and performed a cover of the Foo Fighters classic “Everlong.” Grohl responded by performing Them Crooked Vultures’ “Dead End Friends,” which Bushell matched perfectly.
