Depeche Mode Announce ‘Depeche Mode: M’ Concert Film

Depeche Mode have announced their new concert film Depeche Mode: M, directed by Fernando Frias (I’m No Longer Here, Don’t Expect Anyone to Believe Me).

The film, which is due out in theaters later this fall, follows the band’s massive 2023 shows in Mexico City on their “Memento Mori” tour. The film will feature footage from the three sold-out shows at Mexico City’s Foro Sol Stadium in September 2023, where Dave Gahan and Martin Gore played to nearly 200,000 fans.

“Through Frias’ creative lens, the cinematic experience weaves footage from the three sold-out shows at Mexico City’s Foro Sol Stadium to explore the parallels between the themes on Depeche Mode’s latest album ‘Memento Mori’ and the deep connection to death and mortality in Mexican culture,” reads a new description.

More details about the film will be shared at a later date.
