Dream Theater Announce New Album ‘Parasomnia’

Dream Theater have announced their new album, Parasomnia, coming out on February 7th.

Guitarist John Petrucci produced the album while James “Jimmy T” Meslin engineered and Andy Sneap handled mixing. The album is 71 minutes long across eight tracks.

The band have shared the album’s lead single “Night Terror,” their first studio recording featuring drummer Mike Portnoy since 2009’s Black Clouds & Silver Linings.  Listen to the song below.

Parasomnia will be avaliable on various formats, including a deluxe 2 CD/Blu-Ray box set featuring a 68-page booklet, animated visualizers, and a Dolby Atmos 5.1 mix by Mark Gittins. Double vinyl LPs and a standard CD will also be avaliable. Pre-orders start Friday, October 11th here.

Dream Theater will embark on a North American tour the same day the album drops on Feburary 7th in Philadelphia. See all their dates here.
