Eminem Pushes Back Against Cancel Culture In ‘Tone Deaf’ Lyric Video
Eminem lashes out against those who tried to cancel him in the new “Tone Deaf” lyric video.
Recently, Gen Z TikTok tried to “cancel” Eminem for his past lyrics, particularly for a line from “Love The Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna: “If she ever tries to fucking leave again/ I’mma tie her to the bed and set this house on fire.”
Of course, Eminem wasn’t going to back down and has responded with an animated lyric video for “Tone Deaf,” a song from his recent album Music to Be Murdered By – Side B (Deluxe Edition). The clip sees the rapper confronting his past alter egos, blaming them for his bad behavior while reminding naysayers of his success as he shows off his rows of gold records and awards. The message is clear: no matter how hard you try, Eminem isn’t going anywhere.

Last year, Eminem released an expanded edition of his 11th album, Music to Be Murdered By, featuring 16 additional tracks on top of the album’s original 20 songs for a total of 36 songs. It also includes new collaborations with Dr. Dre, Ty Dolla $ign, DJ Premier, and Skylar Grey.

Yikes. You can do better than uncritically copy alt-right narratives.
