Empire State Bastard Share Heavy New Song ‘Moi?’

Empire State Bastard have released new song “Moi?,” the fourth single taken from their upcoming debut album Rivers of Heresy.

The heavy new track is a slow burner with chugging stoner-rock-inspired riffs and Simon Neil’s throat-shredding howls.

“‘Moi?’ is about people who just no matter what you talk about — and I’m guilty of this at points – will never ever see the truth, even if you dangle it in front of them,” says about the song. “Ignorance can feel like a badge of honour these days, with people being stubborn and not being willing to enlighten themselves. I cannot believe we’ve got to the stage where that’s to be cherished.”

Listen to the song below.

“Moi?” follows previously released singles “Harvest,” “Stutter,” and “The Looming.”

Rivers of Heresy arrives September 1st. Pre-order it here.

Empire State Bastard will make their U.S. debut at Chicago’s Riot Fest, which start September 15th and runs until September 17th. Following this, they’ll play a headline show with Chat Pile in New York. See all their dates here.
