Foo Fighters Share New Song ‘Asking For A Friend’
Foo Fighters have released their new song, “Asking for a Friend,” and have announced a North American stadium tour with Queens of the Stone Age.
Following their previous single, “Today’s Song,” the new track deals with fighting against feelings of disillusionment and hopelessness. “‘Asking for a Friend’ is a song for those who have waited patiently in the cold, relying on hope and faith for their horizon to appear,” said Dave Grohl of the new song. “Searching for ‘proof’ when hanging by a wish until the sun shines again.” It won’t be all we hear from the Foo Fighters in the coming months, as Grohl signed off his statement by saying, “One of many songs to come.”

Next year, the Foo Fighters will hit the road with Queens of the Stone Age, marking their first stadium tour since the 2023-2024 “Everything of Nothing At All” tour. The 2026 North American tour kicks off August 4th in Toronto, Canada, and wraps up in Las Vegas, Nevada, on September 26th.
Tickets go on sale on Halloween (October 31st) at 10 AM local time. Fans subscribed to the Foo Fighters Newsletter can register for a pre-sale happening Tuesday, October 28th at 10 AM local time.
