Hear Foo Fighters Cover Killing Joke’s ‘Requiem’ On New EP
Foo Fighters continue their Foo Files archival series with their latest EP release, 00979725.
Seemingly recorded during 1997, the EP features a slow version of “Up In Arms,” an acoustic rendition of “See You,” the single mix of “Walking After You,” and “Dear Lover,” which first appeared as a bonus track on the Japanese version of The Colour and the Shape.
The most notable cut is their live cover of Killing Joke’s “Requiem,” which was recorded during a performance at the BBC in May of 1997.
Check out the EP below.
00979725 follows the previously released 01070725, which features covers of Arcade Fire and Dead Kennedys, and 01020225, featuring covers of B-52’s and Psychedelic Furs.
Foo Fighters are currently in the studio working on a new album and have a handful of shows booked for next year. See all the dates here.
