Foo Fighters surprise us with new single and video ‘Run’
The Foo Fighters prove you’re never too old to kick some ass. The band dropped a surprise new single “Run” along with a raging new video. Directed by Dave Grohl, the clip starts out in a retirement home with the band aged up quite considerably. After they start playing the new raucous single, the senior citizens starting rioting and begin destroying the place. They fight off the staff, go against the nurse, and even scare a bunch of millennials in a car waiting outside. Check out the video below.
At this time, there’s no word on whether or not “Run” is a standalone single or taken from an upcoming album. This marks their first new material since 2015’s Saint Cecelia EP.
The Foo Fighters will spend the rest of the year touring internationally. They’ll make appearances at Glastonbury Festival, Sonic Summer Festival, Lollapalooza Berlin, and Rock the Beach.
