GENRE IS DEAD’s Releases Of The Week: Nine Inch Nails, Arctic Monkeys, Yellow Claw and more!
Nine Inch Nails – God Break Down The Door
From their upcoming record, which will be named ‘Bad Witch’, Nine Inch Nail’s released ‘God Break Down The Door’ earlier this week. The song gives us David Bowie-vibes. It’s different and powerful and hopefully we will be able to see it live during their European tour, starting next month! ‘Bad Witch’ will be out June 22nd.
Arctic Monkeys – Four Out Of Five
It’s here! The first single from the new Arctic Monkeys-album ‘ Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, and it’s brilliant. The band shows growth and development with this new song ‘Four Stars Out Of Five’, which was released with an eerily pretty music video. We give it four stars out of five. And that’s unheard of!
Yellow Claw ft. Sofia Reyes – Bittersweet
Our favourite Dutch DJ duo teamed up with Mexican singer-songwriter Sofia Reyes for a track that gets us ready for the summer! The song is quite a contrast from what we are used to hear from Yellow Claw, but it’s loaded with positive vibes and we can’t wait to hear more! ‘Bittersweet’ will be on their forthcoming album ‘New Blood’, which will be in stores next month!
Passenger – Hell or High Water
Good news for Passenger-fans, because just two days ago English singer-songwriter released the beauty that is ‘Hell or High Water’. The music video shows the incredibly gorgeous North American landscape, which somehow matches amazingly well with the track itself. It gives us chills!
The Kooks – All The Time
Three days ago The Kooks came out with not one, but two songs! Along with All The Time, No Pressure was also released for the world to hear. Both songs will be featured on their fifth studio album ‘Let’s Go Sunshine’, that will be out in August. With the catchy chorus and the violin-sound, it’s a must to listen to!
