Gorillaz Invade ‘Grand Theft Auto’ In ‘The Valley Of The Pagans’ Video

Gorillaz hit the streets of Los Santos in their new video for “The Valley of the Pagans” featuring Beck.

The eighth episode of the Song Machine series features the animated band cruising the Grand Theft Auto 5 CGI-inspired LA streets in their low rider dubbed the Pagan. Beck checks in from time to time via a device called the Fruit phone. The video ends with their car being sucked through a wormhole and end up in the waters outside Plastic Beach, a reference to their 2010 album. In recent interviews, Damon Albarn has hinted at a sequel to the album.

Gorillaz recently released their latest album, Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez. On December 12th and 13th, the band will play their first concert in over two years with the virtual Song Machine Live. They’ll play three separate shows across three time zones from a London venue. A list of guest appearances has yet to be announced.
