Green Day Announce ‘Corvette Summer’ Music Video

Green Day have announced the release of their new music video for “Corvette Summer” from their latest album Saviors coming July 23rd at 10 AM PT.
The band teased the clip on Instagram showing a vintage poster for a movie called Corvette Summer starring Mark Hamill and Annie Potts. We then see someone off-screen replace Potts with cutouts of Green Day. Surprisingly, the video boasts celebrity cameos from Hannibal Buress and, of course, Hamill himself.
“You’re going to have the most turbo-charged, chrome-plated, plush-lined, high-gloss, super-speed customized time of your life,” they wrote on Instagram. “The Corvette Summer music video comes out next Tuesday, July 23rd at 10am PT. Starring Billie Joe Armstrong, Tre Cool, Mike Dirnt, Mark Hamill, Hannibal Buress, and a whole lot more.”
