Green Day Announce New Song ‘Holy Toledo!’

Green Day have announced they will release a new song dubbed “Holy Toledo!” this Friday.

The song comes from upcoming rom-com Mark, Mary & Some Other People, which features a score composed by Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump.

“We now interrupt your weekly BBC Live Sessions broadcasts to announce that we’ll be releasing a new song this week,” Green Day said. “Holy Toledo! from [Mark, Mary & Some Other People] is out everywhere this Friday.”

Mark, Mary & Some Other People is about a couple who decide to try an open ended relationship as their lives get more complicated. Both the movie and “Holy Toledo!” drop November 5th.

Green Day recently announced their new live album, The BBC Sessions, featuring rare recordings of their Maida Vale sessions from 1994, 1995, 1998, and 2001. In anticipation of it’s release, the band have shared “Basket Case” and “2000 Light Years Away” from those sessions. The album drops December 10th. Pre-order it here.
