Green Day Share New Song ‘Pollyanna,’ Reschedule Hella Mega Tour

Surprise! Green Day have released their new song “Pollyanna.”

The synth-driven power pop song feels like a proper celebration after a year stuck in COVID. Armstrong is optimistic as he sings “We’re gonna take back the night/everything’s gonna be all right.”

In addition, the band have also rescheduled US dates for their Hella Mega Tour with Weezer and Fall Out Boy. The tour will launch July 24th in Dallas, Texas and will wrap up September 6th in Seattle, Washington. The Interrupters will join as special guests.

Pre-sales start Thursday, May 20th at 10 AM local time. General sale starts Friday, May 21st at 10 AM local time. Check out all the new dates below.

All three bands will appear on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series on July 17th, during which Weezer and Fall Out Boy will take the stage and Green Day will join them for an interview.
