Green Day Announce Surprise Show In Oklahoma
Surprise! Green Day have announced they will play a show in Oklahoma tomorrow (July 20th) before the launch of their Hella Mega Tour this weekend.
The band revealed on Twitter that they will play a warm-up show at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma tomorrow. Tickets are already on sale but note that all fans must be vaccinated to attend.
“Due to the recent spike in the Delta variant, and because it’s indoors, we’ve been asked to do this as a fully vaccinated show. ID & proof of vaccination will be required for entry for ALL attendees. No exceptions,” said Green Day.
Those who don’t get in still have a chance to catch Green Day along with Weezer and Fall Out Boy on the Hella Mega Tour, which starts July 24th in Dallas, Texas. See all the dates here.
Green Day will also play this year’s Global Citizen Live along with Metallica, Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, and more. The concert airs on September 25th for 24 hours on ABC, ABC News Live, BBC, FX, iHeartRadio, Hulu, YouTube and Twitter. Get all the details here.
