Green Day Tease New Music With New Video And Website
It seems Green Day is teasing new music. Getting ahead of the “Wake Me Up When September Ends” memes, the band recently shared a link for the website isgreendayawake.com. The site counted down to when the band would wake up aka October 1st.
At the end of the countdown, the band shared a 33-second video teaser featuring frontman Billie Joe Armstrong waking up (haha) and staring at a calendar that has the date October 24th circled in red. Note what sounds like a new song playing in the background.
The video caption reads “It’s October 1st, WAKE UP. Now go hit snooze on theamericandreamiskillingme.com.” This takes you to a website with the same video and a “snooze” option where you’re able to enter your details and “register for a wake-up call” and set the alarm.
