Hayley Williams Announces New Album ‘FLOWERS for VASES / descansos’

Hayley Williams has announced her new solo album, FLOWERS for VASES / descansos (“breaks” in Spanish).

Described as a “prequel” to her debut album, Petals for Armor, the new record comes out tomorrow (!), February 5th.

Talking about the album on Instagram, Williams said FLOWERS for VASES / descansos “isn’t really a follow-up to Petals for Armor. If anything, it’s a prequel, or some sort of detour between parts 1 and 2 of Petals.”

She went on to reveal she wrote and performed the album entirely herself at her Nashville home. And for those wondering about Paramore, Williams said “Paramore is still a band.”

While no other details about the album were revealed, Kerrang! reports reddit users speculate it’ll be a 14-track album featuring “My Limb,” which Williams leaked to fans last week. “Find Me Here” is also believed to appear on the record.
