Kendrick Lamar To Headline Roskilde Festival 2021
Kendrick Lamar will headline Roskilde Festival 2021.
Like just about all festivals and events this year, the Danish festival was forced to cancel its 2020 plans due to the global pandemic. Lamar was set to headline this year’s event and has agreed to play the 2021 festival.
“We are on the threshold of a new year, and we think there is a need and reason to be hopeful,” Roskilde’s head of programming Anders Wahrén said in a statement. “That’s why we’re revealing another act for next year’s festival.”
Previously announced acts for next year’s festival include The Strokes, Tyler, The Creator, Faith No More, Haim, Thom Yorke’s Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes, FKA Twigs, Girl in Red, Anderson.Paak, Big Thief, DaBaby, Deftones, Doja Cat, Fontaines D.C., and Megan Thee Stallion. Missing from the previously announced 2020 lineup are Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves, The Roots, Brittany Howard and Waxachatchee, among others.
