Listen: Ashley Wilson Shares New Single ‘Paint The Sky’ From Upcoming LP
Indie pop singer/songwriter Ashley Wilson has shared the title track from her upcoming album, Paint the Sky. With a blend of mellow jazz and folk pop, Wilson creates smooth gem you’ll be singing in your head for days. The track evokes the early sound of Norah Jones. Listen to the track below.
“Paint the Sky” is an important release for Wilson as it represents the moment she put aside her successful tech marketing career and focused on singing, which she gave up in her late 20’s to attend college. “I would always hear this little voice inside of me telling me to sing,” Wilson said in a press statement. “It eventually got too big to ignore.”
In support of the album, Wilson will perform at her album release show at PianoFight in San Francisco, California on March 15. Tickets are on sale now.
Paint the Sky comes out March 1.
