Marilyn Manson’s Next Album Is Finished And Is A ‘Masterpiece’

Marilyn Manson has finished his new album, which both he and producer Shooter Jennings dub as a “masterpiece.”

Jennings revealed the news in a new Instagram post featuring a photo of himself next to an autographed photo of  Manson’s 1997 Rolling Stone cover with the caption, “Just waiting for this finished masterpiece to be released.”

Manson then commented “Love my Shooter, Misty, and Pancake. Finished masterpiece album. And Matt Mahurin. Shit is gonna get real.”

Manson’s follow up to 2017’s Heaven Upside Down has been in the works for a while. Previously, he said the album would be released before the end of 2019. Instead, he shared covers of The Doors’ “The End” and “God’s Gonna Cut You Down.” Back in February, he shared a cryptic picture on Instagram with the tags #2020 and #youhavenoideawhatiscoming, leading fans to believe it was related to his new album.
