Marilyn Manson Shares Cover Of The Doors ‘The End’

Marilyn Manson offers his own spin on another classic track. The rocker has shared his cover of The Doors classic “The End.”

The song is paired with a visual featuring one of his own watercolor paintings. Manson’s low rumbling baritone vocals increase the haunting nature of this track. The song is already bleak, but Manson’s take is somehow even more chilling than the original. Listen to it below.

Manson previously revealed he was covering The Doors track for the Stephen King mini-series The Stand, which he’ll also star in.

Last month, Manson shared his cover of the traditional folk tune “God’s Gonna Cut You Down.” Right now it’s not clear whether these covers will appear on his next album, which is said to be released sometime next year. Manson has been working with Shooter Jennings and originally hoped to release the new album this year.

Manson will join Ozzy Osbourne‘s rescheduled North American tour starting May 27th in Atlanta, Georgia, wrapping up on July 31st in Las Vegas, Nevada. Check out those dates here.
