Muse Share New Song ‘Will Of The People,’ Announce Theater Tour

Muse have given us another taste of their upcoming album with their new song “Will of the People.”

“‘Will of the People’ is fictional story set in a fictional metaverse on a fictional planet ruled by a fictional authoritarian state run by a fictional algorithm manifested by a fictional data centre running a fictional bank printing a fictional currency controlling a fictional population occupying a fictional city containing a fictional apartment where a fictional man woke up one day and thought ‘fuck this,'” says frontman Matt Bellamy.

In the song’s accompanying video, directed by Tom Teller, a group of masked activists run through a desolate city tearing down statues, tagging security cameras, and invading the Ministry of Truth. The group eventually makes their way to the desert where overlooking busts of Muse are brought down and turned into dust.
