New Found Glory Cancel Shows Due To Family Emergency

New Found Glory announced that they have canceled the last two dates of their “From the Screen to Your Stereo to Your Town Tour” due to a family emergency forced guitarist Chad Gilbert to miss the shows.

“Hey everyone, need your thoughts & prayers or whatever you do in tough times,” Gilbert wrote in a statement on Sunday (Nov. 24). “I’m having to fly out quickly because of a family emergency. Because of this we will be unable to play the last 2 shows of the tour but plan to reschedule these dates as soon as possible. Family first with NFG. We love you all. Thank you for the support.”

New Found Glory intends to reschedule the canceled shows in Carrboro, North Carolina, on November 25th and Birmingham, Alabama, on November 26th. There’s no other information regarding when that announcement will come or the nature of the emergency at this time.

The GENRE IS DEAD! team wishes Gilbert and his family the best during this time.
