New Video: Banks – Brain
Alternative R&B singer Banks stuns with an aesthetic video for her heavily buzzed about single “Brain”. The black, white and red video works with eerie effects such as distortion or patterns which fits very well to the song’s dark industrial sound. Banks herself looks sensual and mysterious.
The exceptional singer from Los Angeles is one of the most talked about artists in 2014. Her EPs Fall Over and London had music blogs and magazines soaring with praise, so it is not very surprising that she was crowned artist to watch in 2014 by Shazam, iTunes and Spotify.
You can currently catch her live at SXSW. She’s also touring the United Kingdom in March before performing at several festivals including Coachella in April, May and June.
The song “Brain” was produced by non other than electronic musician Shlohmo. Banks is expected to release her debut album sometime this year. Stream her current EP London here:
