Nirvana Announce ‘In Utero’ Reissue For 30th Anniversary

Nirvana have announced a new reissue of In Utero arriving on October 27th to coincide with the album’s 30th anniversary.

The anniversary reissue features 53 previously unreleased tracks, including two full In Utero-era concerts: a 1993 Los Angeles performance and their final Seattle show in 1994. There are also six bonus live tracks taken from shows in New York, Rome, and Springfield. All the live material was reconstructed from soundboard tapes by engineer Jack Endino.

Additionally, the reissue includes a remaster of the original album, five bonus tracks, and B-sides. The 30th anniversary edition will be released on various formats, including a limited edition 8xLP Super Deluxe Box Set, a 5xCD Super Deluxe Box Set, a 2xCD Deluxe set, a 1xLP vinyl edition, and a digital Super Deluxe edition. The physical Super Deluxe Edition comes with a removable front-cover acrylic panel with the album’s angel; a 48-page hardcover book with unreleased pictures; a Los Angeles tour poster lithograph by hot rod artists Coop; replicas of the 1993 record store promo Angel mobile; three gig fliers; two ticket stubs for Los Angeles and Seattle; an All-Access tour laminate; and four cloth sticky tour backstage passes: Press, Photo, After Show, and Local Crew.
