PVRIS Announce New Album ‘EVERGREEN,’ Share New Single

PVRIS have announced their highly anticipated fourth album EVERGREEN, which arrives on July 14th via Hopeless Records.

Lyndsey Gunnulfsen described the album as “a reclamation of control in our post-pandemic culture, posing a complex discussion on fame, technology, spectacle, and female autonomy.”

She also offered some insight behind the title: “If you search the definition of ‘evergreen,’ you will find words like: enduring, timeless, fresh, unlimited, and renewal. In our modern culture where everything is online, algorithm-based, and instantaneous, it feels like timelessness, longevity and connection could someday become dying concepts. More than ever, PVRIS has, and always will be anti-formula, anti-virality, and anti-instant gratification.”

Over a span of 18 months, Gunnulfsen disappeared from the public eye to focus on co-producing the album alongside various collaborators, including Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, Y2K, JT Daly, Matias Mora, and Carrie Karipinen. The album also features contributions from 070 Shake and Raye.

In anticipation of its release, the band released their new single “GOOD ENEMY.” Listen to it below.
