Queens of the Stone Age announce long awaited new album ‘Villains’

After months of speculation and teasing, Queens of the Stone Age finally revealed their new album. Titled Villains, the follow-up to 2013’s …Like Clockwork was produced by Mark Ronson. The band made the announcement in a cryptic video showing frontman Josh Homme taking a lie detector test. The clip also features a preview of the new song “Feet Don’t Fail Me.” Watch it below.

A day after the official album announcement, it was revealed Villains is slated for an August 25 release.

Queens of the Stone Age are currently touring the festival circuit. They’ll make appearances at Fuji Rock Festival, Outside Lands, Splendour in the Grass, and Riot Fest.
