Reading And Leeds Announce Full Schedule For Virtual Celebration
BBC has revealed the full schedule for this weekend’s virtual Reading and Leeds celebrations.
BBC will air classic festival sets from Billie Eilish, Foo Fighters, Radiohead and more on their iPlayer this weekend to celebrate what would’ve been the 2020 edition of these iconic festivals.
Things kick off Friday, August 28th with sets from Creeper, Royal Blood, and unnamed “special guest,” The 1975, Pale Waves, Enter Shikari and more. Performances from Fall Out Boy, The Prodigy, Muse, Twenty One Pilots, Post Malone, and The Streets will air on Saturday, August 29th. The event wraps up Sunday, August 30th with performances from Bring Me the Horizon, Jimmy Eat World, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Queens of the Stone Age, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
“We’re buzzing to announce that we’re teaming up with BBC Music to bring you live performances from Reading & Leeds over the years,” say the festival organizers. “We’ll be marking the August bank holiday with a selection of exclusive performances and unforgettable memories.”
