Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, And Notorious B.I.G. Among Nominees For 2020 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has revealed the nominees for the class of 2020. Nominees include Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Kraftwerk, The Notorious B.I.G., Soundgarden, Motörhead, and Whitney Houston.

Other finalists include Dave Matthews Band, Rufus with Chaka Khan, T. Rex, The Doobie Brothers, Judas Priest, MC5, Thin Lizzy, Todd Rundgren, and Pat Benatar.

The Notorious B.I.G., Soundgarden, Motörhead, Dave Matthews Band, and Whitney Houston have all been nominated for the first time, while this is the third nomination for Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode.

The finalists will be determined by votes from a group of artists, historians, and music industry members, as well as a fan vote, and will be revealed in January. The induction ceremony will be held in May 2020 at the Public Hall in Cleveland, Ohio. HBO will air the ceremony later in the year.
