Royal Blood New Share Disco-Inspired Song ‘Limbo’

Royal Blood have shared their new disco-inspired single “Limbo” taken from their upcoming album, Typhoons.

The third preview of the new album shows off the band’s dance-infused sound. The song combines the duo’s rock edge with a big disco-tinged hook that sounds ripped from Saturday Night Fever. It’s so catchy you’ll be pulling off your best John Travolta dance moves. It’s unlike anything the band have done before and we’re here for it!

“It is without a doubt the most ambitious and wildest we have allowed ourselves to be and we can’t wait to invite you this far down the rabbit hole with us,” the band said in a statement.

The song will make its live debut when the duo performs at Roblox’s Bloxy Awards on Saturday, March 26th at  7 PM GMT / noon PDT on the Roblox platform.

Ben Thatcher talked about the pandemic’s influence on Typhoons‘ new direction during our recent interview saying:

“I think you take anything into consideration with what’s going on. And we don’t know what we would come out with if this didn’t happen. Taking that all into perspective, it totally changed what we were doing and the course of this record for the better. I think we had more time to reflect on the songs. It was an unusual time for sure, but we’re more excited with what we came out with.”

Royal Blood’s new album, Typhoons, comes out April 30th.
