Sigur Rós Tease with a Mysterious Short Clip

The Icelandic post-rock trio have released a mysterious 10-second clip that is clearly teasing something, however, it is unknown what.

Accompanied with no music, the video only shows the words “Norður Og Niður” (Icelandic for “north and down”). The script later crumbles, collapses down and eventually disappears.

The link in the YouTube video description takes you to a newsletter sign-up page. When you sign up, you receive an email that reads “soon…” and a link that allows you to download a photo of the band.

According to Pitchfork, the band aren’t teasing a new album, however they are rumored to be working on one with producer John Congleton.
