Sleater-Kinney Share New Single ‘High In The Grass’

Sleater-Kinney have shared their new single “High In the Grass” from their upcoming album, Path of Wellness.

The band have also shared the song’s accompanying music video directed by Kelly Sears.

Previously Sleater-Kinney previewed the new album with lead single “Worry With You.” Path of Wellness was written and recorded by Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker over quarantine. The two also produced the album themselves, which they spoke about in a recent interview with Vulture.

“We did think about bringing someone in, and it was really impossible.” Carrie Brownstein added, “When we had the demos done, they already had keyboard lines and bass lines. I thought, Well, what is a producer going to do at this point? We’ve basically laid out exactly how we want this record to sound.”
