Spice Girls Not Heading On Tour, But Are Stand Alone Shows An Option?
There’s been a lot of speculations since THE reunion photo broke the internet about two weeks ago: are the Spice Girls planning a comeback album? Are they heading on tour again? Unfortunately, Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice broke a billion hearts when she spoke to Vogue during a preview of her new fashion collection: “I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour.”
Yes, we teared up as well, when those words hit the socials, but there might still be hope! A “source” told The Sun that the Spice Girls are considering some stand alone shows, because, you know, touring is tough and all while the occasional show here and there could be fun: “Given the family situations, committing to a gruelling mega world tour was always a tough ask. When they got back together this month to discuss reforming, a mammoth tour was dismissed by the majority. But performing together again certainly wasn’t, so the idea of playing a few huge shows in various cities was one that received the most interest.”
Yes, we know, The Sun isn’t really the best source, but we are clutching at any straw to see our favorite girls live again. For now we still have to wait and see which projects Mel C, Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham and Emma Bunton have planned for the future.
