State Champs’ Tony Diaz Announces Charity Livestream for Puerto Rico
If you’ve been keeping up with the news, or even with trending hashtags, chances are you’ve been seeing a lot about one topic in particular.
In Puerto Rico, category 4 hurricane Maria tore through the island leaving it in almost apocalyptic conditions. Left in the dark and with little resources at their immediate disposal, the people of Puerto Rico are in desperate need of help.
On September 25th, Tony Diaz, guitarist in State Champs (@RivaLDiaz on twitter), posted a thread on Twitter talking about how he and his family are personally affected by the devastating conditions overseas and how he plans to help. He stated:
At this point everyone knows about the decimation. And my heart breaks for everyone there. But I want to get personal about it-
